Statistics API and API Discounts: Find Popular Services and Lower Your Cost

Two small features of the OtpGet API quietly make a big difference for resellers: a ranking of what is popular right now, and an account discount applied to every price you receive.

The action returns a ranked list, best first, of the most popular combinations. You can filter by:

• type - the server
• country - a country id (requires a server)
• service - a service name such as WhatsApp
• limit - how many rows, from 1 to 20

The list groups by whichever of country, service and server you did not filter. Ask for WhatsApp on one server and you get the best countries. Ask for one country and you get the best services. The ranking is refreshed about once a minute and contains no prices.

How to use it

• Pre-select the most popular country in your buy form.
• Show a "popular now" row on your storefront.
• Prioritize your own stock and marketing on what customers actually buy.

API discount

If a discount is set on your account, every price you receive from the API is already reduced by that percentage: services, prices, rental pricing, email, cheap and premium lists, and the price returned at purchase. The discounted amount is exactly what is charged, and what is refunded on cancellation. You do not have to send or calculate anything.

Discount and currency together

The discount is applied in the base currency first and then converted if you use the currency parameter, so the numbers you display always match what the wallet is charged.

Tip for resellers

Because discounted prices come straight from the API, your markup is simple: take the price you receive, add your margin, and show that. No separate price table to maintain.
