Temporary Email Price in PKR and Other Currencies: How Pricing Works

Temporary email on OtpGet is priced per address, not per month. What you pay depends on the domain and, on Server 2, on the website. This guide explains how to read the numbers and how currencies fit in.

PKR is the base

Your wallet and all prices are in Pakistani rupees. Amounts in the API are in PKR unless you pass a currency parameter. On the website you can switch the display to one of 153 currencies so you can see roughly what an order costs in your own money.

What changes the price

• Domain: Gmail and iCloud sit at the top, the cheapest group at the bottom.
• Website (Server 2): stock and price are set per website.
• Server: Server 1 prices depend on the service you choose, Server 2 on the site and domain.
• Supply: prices follow stock and can move.

Currency display is only a view

If you pass currency=USD to the API, prices and balance are shown in dollars, but the wallet is still charged in PKR. The rate comes from the site's currency converter and can change slightly over time.

How to spend less

1. Start every order from the cheapest domain.
2. Cancel orders that get no code.
3. Note which domain worked for which website.
4. Keep the balance small and top up as needed.

Reading the price list like a buyer

Look at three things: the price, the stock and whether the domain is likely to be accepted. A very low price with a tiny stock may be empty when you press buy. A high price with a large stock is a safe but costly choice. The sweet spot is usually the cheapest domain with a large stock that the website accepts.

For developers

If you show prices to your own customers, always fetch them live, since they move. Use the currency parameter only for display and keep your own record of the PKR cost of each order, so your accounts match what the wallet actually spent.

Orders with no code are cancelled and refunded after 30 minutes, or you can cancel earlier.
